After cleaning the litter box, find your place in HaloShort by title and episode
Right at a plot twist, you remember the litter box still needs handling, so the TV gets set aside for now. When you come back, the page has reset, someone else has changed what's on, or there's just a cover image you can't quite place — and finding the show ends up eating more time than expected. With HaloShort, remembering the title and episode number, along with local progress, usually cuts down the hunting.

For routine litter box upkeep, follow the device's own instructions
Automatic or self-cleaning litter boxes still have parts that need human attention. Specific cleaning, supplies, and operating requirements should follow the manual for your model. When you're about to leave the TV to handle these things, just pause what's playing. Turning off autoplay alone won't stop the current episode, and coming back to realize you missed part of the story is an easy way to mix up these two actions.
Glancing at the episode number is more reliable than remembering the cover color
HaloShort lets you pick episodes and keeps local viewing progress. If you know which episode you're on before leaving, it's easier to tell whether you're in the right spot when you return. Accidentally backing out to the list doesn't mean you have to search every genre again — you can pick things back up from the title you're following or candidates you've saved.
If another family member has already watched a few episodes ahead, just pick based on where you remember being. When a TV is shared, the progress shown on screen doesn't necessarily match what each person has individually watched. Simply saying "I'm on this episode" is more direct than trying to guess the next day where the story left off.
Back from cleaning, pick up from this segment first
After finishing what you were doing, if you've forgotten what happened before the twist, you can go back to a familiar episode and rewatch. There's no need to binge everything after it in one go. If there's only a little free time tonight, turn off autoplay, finish the current episode, and then decide whether to keep going — it's easier to manage your time that way.
How to find the app
As of October 1, 2026, HaloShort's current content is free. Product information is available on the official website, and downloads go through Emotn. If you have a compatible Android TV or Google TV device at home, you can look into the corresponding installation method; once that's done, save the candidates you're interested in, and next time you'll spend less time searching.
Switching to the bedroom TV — are your saved shows still there?
Saved shows and viewing progress stay on the original device. To continue in the bedroom, bring the title and episode number and look it up based on what the other TV actually shows.
