Cat chores done? Try HaloShort when Netflix browsing gets old
The litter box is checked, feeding and water are taken care of, and now you have some time to pick a story. Opening Netflix and not finding something to click on right away doesn't mean you have to keep scrolling all night. On the same compatible TV, you can add another entry point: HaloShort for short dramas.

One more entry point, one more chance to choose again
HaloShort is an Android TV short drama app, and its current content is free to watch. It's separate from Netflix's library—it's not Netflix's short drama section, and you can't treat one side's saved list as content that exists on the other. Whether there's something you want to watch depends on the actual list at the time.
You can totally keep your existing Netflix habits. If you have time, continue longer stories; if you want something different tonight, pick from HaloShort's current descriptions. The two platforms being independent doesn't mean every single title is guaranteed to never overlap—you still need to check the title and description to judge a specific work.
First decide what kind of story you like; you don't have to swap out your whole watchlist at once
For cat-owning households, evening free time often comes with unexpected chores. If you find something interesting, trying one episode is enough. HaloShort lets you select episodes and pause—when you need to deal with the litter box or food bowl, pause it, and decide later whether to continue.
And don't take 'short drama' to mean there's no plot. For a first try, you can start from the beginning and see the characters and pacing. The actual length of an episode depends on the content. If you like it, keep it as a candidate; if not, go back and choose another.
First check with your existing device
Search for HaloShort in the Emotn store to see how to get it on your specific device. It supports Android TV, Google TV, and compatible Android TVs or boxes—you can't just assume it works based on the words 'smart TV'.
If your device is compatible, try a story during this free moment. HaloShort gives you another place to browse on your TV; you can keep using Netflix as usual.
